Onam 2025 Cultural Participation Rules

Event & Registration Details

Eligibility: This is open to Malayalees only.
Categories: We welcome performances in the following categories:
- Classical, Non-Classical Dance, Classical, Non-Classical Music, Skits, Mime, Opening Program, and Thiruvathira.
Preference will be given to group performances.

Maximum Performances: Each participant can be a part of a maximum of two performances.
Category Limit: A participant cannot register for two performances within the same category (e.g., you cannot register for two Classical Dances).
Exemptions: The above limit does not apply to Skit, Mime, Thiruvathira, and Opening Program performances.
Duration: Each performance should not exceed 6 minutes, with the exception of Skit, Mime, and the Opening Program.
Language: All music tracks for performances must be in Malayalam.
Music Tracks: All music tracks must be submitted to the cultural coordinator by September 7, 2025.

Per Team: Each performance requires a separate registration.
Coordinator Information: You will be required to provide the coordinator's name, email, and phone number. This person will be the primary point of contact for your performance.
Participant Names: All participants' names should be entered in the designated field as a comma-separated list.
To Register: Click the "Register for Cultural Performance" button to start the process.

Registration Confirmation: The Kairali committee will review all registrations and send a confirmation email within two weeks after the registration deadline.
Child Supervision: Parents or guardians must accompany children at all times. Kairali is not responsible for supervising participants or non-participating children.
Valuables: Kairali is not responsible for any lost or stolen items from the venue or premises. Please secure your valuables at all times.
Media Consent: Kairali reserves the right to take and use videos and pictures of participants for social media, websites, or magazines. If you wish to be excluded from this, please email kairalikats@gmail.com before the registration deadline.
Copyright: Kairali is not responsible for any claims of copyright violations related to performances.
Event Changes: Organizers reserve the right to alter the event sequence or stage arrangements on the event day without prior notice.
Right to Alter Rules: Kairali reserves the right to determine eligibility or alter these rules as needed.
